The I̶d̶e̶a̶l̶ Workable Plan

I completed a 365 day bible study plan on YouVersion in 2025.

While that is a big deal for me, that’s not exactly why I’m writing this. I needed to do another run for 2026 and I was in between options of the Bible plan to pick for 365 days.

I went through different plans and saw one that could fly. I started it but there wasn’t any audio feature implying that I had to stay glued to reading on my phone to complete this plan. While this was and is a great idea, it wouldn’t work for me yet as I might not get 365 days to sit down and complete the plan glued to my screen. I decided to go with a plan that comes with the audio feature.

For me, it is better to align to a plan with audio features than excuses as to why I won’t study God’s word consistently through the year.

This gave me a whole perspective on how there are a lot of ways to get things sorted and done, finding the one that aligns with you is what would be the difference between ideators, goal setters and executors.

Success isn’t about rigid adherence to an idealised process, it’s about intelligent adaptation to one’s real-life constraints as these idealized processes, while technically effective, become obstacles when they clash with real-world constraints like commutes, work demands, or family obligations.

The point here is, do what works for you. There’s always something that can fit into your schedule, your life and the growth you need.

It could be your academics, your career, your body goals, your relationships among other things; there’s some way it can work out for you – you just have to be open to the possibility of options and flexible enough to prioritise those options.

Ps- This doesn’t obviate the option of stretching and trying new things as the point of finding ways things can work for you ‘irrespective of’ is to the end that you attain growth and become your desired person.

So, set big and scary goals; most of all find a way they become achievable even with your present realities.
