Have you ever felt you don’t know as much as people claim you do? Ooh! Sometimes, you feel like an imposter. You do not think much of yourself and your responses and are always in awe when people are amazed by how much you can dispense and apply yourself to what you say.

While this might be indicative of the need to outgrow your present association so they won’t let you fall into the error of information, it can also be telling you any of the following:
- You do not rate yourself as much as you should. You feel inferior to those around you and do not expect yourself to produce as much value as you do. You should rate yourself more by journaling qualities about yourself that are admirable and make you stand out.
- You have not been sharing what you know. You don’t know how much you know till you bring another person up to speed to learn about what you know. You feel you do not know as much as you do because you haven’t been sharing the little or very much knowledge you possess.
- You have only been networking vertically and not horizontally. It’s an amazing quality that sets you up for immense growth when you relate with those ahead of you. You, however, still need to extend yourself to those of the same and lower levels as you are.
- You don’t want to grow through a process. You want to come out all perfect and done without flaws. While that is admirable, it can cost you years of true growth and progress.
This list isn’t exhaustive.
Everyone has an area where they excel strongly and just need to pay attention to unveil their genius. Don’t stay too comfortable in the zone where you are in, grow in knowledge and apply that knowledge to provide a relevant solution.
