‘Can’t’ and ‘Impossible’

Words hold the frame through which we communicate our thoughts and ideas. Without words, the world would be in pictures – beautiful but there would be so much that wouldn’t be realized as pictures themselves tell stories and are worth a thousand words. There would be a lot of pent-up emotions that people would find other means to express other than words.

Back to reality. We have words and they convey our deepest thoughts and send a signal to the brain about the things we can and won’t do. With words, it is more of how much it has been used by you and around you. What this means is that every conversation is recorded by the mind and continual usage of words or pictures, tells the brain that is your norm.

One of the reasons why saying affirmations is a beneficial task for the mind is that, your mind is a member of your body that cannot do things unless you push it to. The flip slide is that the mind takes cues from what it is regularly exposed to and interprets that as your approval to use the information received. This is a reason why we start singing songs we never intentionally listened to but heard around us.

With the continual repetition of words and actions, your mind stores this information and sends signals to your body to take actions that go hand in hand with the words spoken and information received.

What you see is important

Having a vision board with pictures helps you have a clear picture of what you want to achieve, who you want to be, and other surrounding facts. Seeing this as often as you can helps your mind align with what you want, spurring you into taking actions that help achieve those goals.

Things that do not relate to or help you achieve those results you see very often become less desirable to you, not because they aren’t fantastic but because your mind keeps putting what you want in front of you. This is pivotal and can be a game-changer in achieving your goals.

The words you use are very important

As stated earlier, the words you use go a long way in deciding what your mind decodes as normal for you. What words are you sowing into your mind every day? Do you use positive words that spur up possibilities and set you up for opportunities or are you already ruling yourself out of the equation?

The words you say can set you up for positivity and otherwise. They can boost your confidence and make you stand up tall regardless of where you find yourself.

If for nothing else, God says you can. You should believe that and make His word true in your life.

Speak the best words over yourself. Push yourself to your highest height by expanding the capacity of your mind and setting it up for the adventure that your life will experience.

You are made for more. Keep shining.
