Dreams come expensive…

Not because they are super pricey or are luxury goods but because they would cost you. Don’t get me wrong, dreams aren’t cheap but I’m not bothering on the financial aspect of dreams.

Dreams would cost you relationships, your sleep, hard work and most of all you might feel pain in the process.

The magnitude of sacrifices and the extent to which you are willing to go to make your vision and ambition possible would determine if they would be achieved and how fast they would happen.

We call ‘things’ dreams because they aren’t things that we can immediately reach out to grasp. They are concepts that are formed in the mind through exposure and imaginative thinking.

My Spiritual leader would always say if you can achieve your vision by your thinking and calculations then you are thinking too small, go and think again.

We dream of reaching our highest heights and attaining pedestals we have only heard of and probably not seen in our immediate environments.

To achieve your dreams, the most important thing to do is to take personal responsibility. Personal responsibility is acknowledging that your life is in your hands and you can weld it as great and small as you will.

I’m not ignoring the place of God. God has set out plans for you to excel and be an outstanding individual regardless of the endeavor you wish to undertake. It is however left to you to act on His Finished works.

Recently, I’ve been seeing content around prayer and how it might be hindering you from doing the things you want to do. The content goes further to say that a lot of people hide behind praying even when they know it is time to step out. This is true.

While prayer at every point in time is important, knowing when to step out in Faith is also really important. Prayer gives you the boldness and courage you need to do what you need to do.

So, whatever dream(s) you have envisioned for yourself, know it won’t come cheap. You have to do the work needed to make it happen. Take personal responsibility, it will change the trajectory of your life.
