I was wrong. I had always thought that courage had to be for something positive.
Courage is the push to do an action in the face of fear, whether it is right or wrong.
I think it takes more courage to do evil than good yet you would be as surprised as my intuitive self to know that the people that are seemingly the most courageous are those intending to perpetuate evil. (I digress)
Sometimes, due to experiences and other psychological impacts, people do not see themselves as what they want to become. They think it’s beyond them, so they leave it or outsource it.
The problem with not considering yourself worthy of a thing that you are working towards is that no matter how much effort you put in, you end up sabotaging it, most times unknowingly.
The world in which we live consists of so many spur of the moment activities and you would only make a mark when you ‘launch into your deep’ at the right time.
Fortune favours the bold and only those willing to give it all it takes would actually come out as top flyers.
Am I saying everyone would be famous? No
Am I saying everyone would be a rich capitalist? No
The totality of this writing is to the end that in whatever activity you find yourself, you give it all you can give. Don’t shy away from a thing because it’s tough and seemingly not achievable.
A little stress is good for the mind; stretch yourself, reach for the deep and I hope your courage pays off.
Thank you for reading.
