Valentine’s day is a day separated for lovers to celebrate themselves and show how much they love each other mostly to the world.

The day isn’t a public holiday so people still get to carry on with their normal everyday activities.

Valentine’s day 2022 fell on a Monday and as expected this caused a lot of uproar especially among single people as they were sure to be oppressed at their places of work.

The uproar from the people with partners were mostly for the day to be a half working day or declared a public holiday… well, pretty much everyone wanted it to be a public holiday.

Statements like

“pepper me in your own private corner and not beside my office desk”

“I already sent a message to HR that anyone that disturbs the office with valentine paranran should be queried” were made on social media.

It was also a day when people that we thought were supposedly single came forward with their partners.

Valentine’s day obviously means a bunch to many people and I think that no matter how insignificant the day is to you, if you have a partner, it’s always a good day to show love through gifts and other mediums you can employ.

Examples of some really thoughtful obvious love notes which happened in 2022 was the billboard message.

Wow, that must have cost a lot but if you love someone you should want to do above and beyond😁.

Someone also put up a love note for Pastor Bolaji Idowu, this was super amazing I must say.

One of the amazing things I saw play out was friends buying themselves gifts. It was really lovely to see, some were planned others just happened but it was great altogether.

I think 2022’s valentine’s day was amazing and people did many thoughtful things. Tension? Not sure and I got a gift too🤣; I hope you got yourself something if no one did?

Self love is the most important.
